Job summary

KemperSports Management’s Franklin Canyon Golf Course in Hercules, California seeks a Pro Shop Attendant to deliver outstanding guest service and support daily pro shop operations. You will check-in players, handle tee times, merchandise sales, and provide course information with a professional, friendly demeanor.

The role involves processing payments, running the cash register, and assisting with tournaments and events while maintaining a welcoming Pro Shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a hospitality-focused mindset.
• Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems accurately.
• Basic knowledge of golf or willingness to learn course operations, rules, and terminology.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Take reservations and collect greens fees.
• Open and close the Pro Shop and cash register.
• Answer the phone and make reservations for customers and members.
• Greet and direct all visitors.
• Inform players of course conditions and cart rules.
• Manage tee sheet and pair groups to keep play smooth.
• Promote products to members and guests.
• Assist with inventory and sales.
