Sun Communities in Punta Gorda, FL is seeking a friendly Pro Shop Clerk to support merchandise sales and golf course reservations, ensuring guests receive outstanding service.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling sales at the register, booking tee times, and maintaining a neat store. Must have a HS diploma, basic computer skills, and a valid driver's license. Competitive benefits and flexible hours offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication.
• Basic computer proficiency including email/internet use.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Greets customers, answers phone courteously, completes sales transactions at the pro shop (Essential).
• Completes golf course reservations including tee time scheduling (Essential).
• Operates cash register, processes payments, and balances cash drawer at shift end (Essential).
• Cleans and maintains the pro shop store (Essential).
• Assists golfers with golf-related needs and uses handicap system to post scores.
• Markets the course, memberships and special rates to daily fee players.
• Performs opening/closing duties as directed by the Pro Shop Manager.
• Ensures merchandise is neat, well-displayed, and stocked; communicates shortages to the Pro Shop Manager.
• Other duties as assigned
