Job summary

Charles Myers Golf Course in Charlotte, NC, part of Troon, seeks a Pro Shop Attendant to assist guests, process reservations, and support a fast-paced golf shop environment.

You will handle check-in, inventory displays, golf cart and equipment setup, and collect greens and cart fees in the POS system. A strong work ethic, coachability, and golf knowledge are preferred, with Sunday availability required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be coachable and have basic computer skills.
• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge about the game of golf preferred.
• Sunday availability required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in.
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary and direct.
• Collect green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and process in the POS system as trained.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe workplace.
• Assist in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at closing of the day.
• Ensure property and its amenities are secured daily.
• Assist with the set-up of equipment and golf carts for regular tee times or outings.
• Explain rules and course etiquette to groups as needed and welcome guests and players.
