Job summary

Bent Creek Golf Course is seeking a friendly Pro Shop Attendant to deliver top‑notch service to guests in a busy golf shop environment. You will handle reservations, process payments, assist with shop displays, and maintain a clean, welcoming front desk while using the POS system.

As an Inside staff member you will perform clerk duties, greet players, explain rules and etiquette, manage carts, ensure pace of play, record starting times, and support General Manager with daily operations and

Responsibilities

• Perform clerk/cashier duties.
• Process reservations for guests.
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to expedite check-in.
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as directed.
• Collect green and cart fees and process in POS.
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Reconcile cash and accounts receivable to daily register.
• Ensure property and amenities are secured daily.
• Assist with setup of equipment and golf carts.
• Perform related duties as assigned by General Manager.
• Welcome and greet guests as Outside staff.
• Explain rules and course etiquette to groups.
• Wash and sanitize golf carts; maintain storage and practice facilities.
• Set up carts and equipment for tee times.
• Maintain pace of play and record start times.
• Ensure groups have four players when possible.
• Record starting times and cart numbers as needed.
• Secure property and amenities daily.

• Responsible for processing customer reservations for guests of the golf course
• Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in proces
• Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed
• Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes in the POS system as trained
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe workplace
• Assists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the da
• Ensure property and its amenities are secured daily
• Assist with set-up of equipment and golf carts
• Perform related duties as assigned by General Manager

When acting as an Outside staff member

• Perform Starter/Ranger like duties
• Responsible for welcoming and greeting of guests and players in a friendly manner
• Explaining rules and course etiquette to all groups if needed
• Wash and sanitize golf cart fleet, maintain organized storage areas and practice facility
• Assist with the set-up and organization of the golf carts and equipment for any regular tee time starts outing
• Facilitate orderly and timely pace of play of groups to prevent delay
• Answer all questions in a friendly manner. Keep a record of starting times and golf cart numbers for each group when necessary
• Ensure that each group has four players if possible
• Responsible for the picking up and cleaning practice balls when schedule
• Ensure property and its amenities are secured daily
• Perform related duties as assigned by General Manager
