The Pro Shop Attendant assists with the daily operations of the golf course, including tracking course play, protecting and controlling facility assets, assisting with merchandise and inventory, and supporting tournaments and lessons as necessary. Using a point-of-sale system, the attendant completes monetary transactions.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities

• Assist customers with merchandise selections while providing excellent customer service
• Handle sales transactions, operate cash register and credit card machine according to procedures
• Demonstrate an interest in golf and interact knowledgeably with guests
• Prepare cash deposit envelopes at end of day
• Create and arrange displays as directed
• Restock merchandise
• Enter data required for record keeping
• Assist or perform monthly inventory

Secondary Functions

• Complete all paperwork and forms promptly
• Make merchandise recommendations based on guest requests and inquiries
• Assist with the execution of golf tournaments as needed
• Maintain a neat and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Job Conditions
