Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers and returns. Daily tasks include promoting current sales and loyalty programs, collecting payments, and building strong relationships with National Pro customers while sharing delivery insights.

Role requires effective communication, basic math, and a customer-service mindset with a willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques. Some evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Willingness to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores; drop off weekly/monthly flyers promoting sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and share delivery insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and inventory; stock parts and perform cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend solutions.
