Job summary

Advance Auto Parts drivers pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, while collecting returns and promoting current sales flyers and loyalty programs.

The role involves building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assisting in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value, and maintaining store cleanliness and inventory. Flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Speaking and writing English required (Spanish a plus).
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, catalogs and procedures.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
