Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Florida is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, maintain inventory, and support sales through upselling and excellent service.

You will engage with customers, handle returns, assist with stocking, and keep the store clean. Must have a valid driver's license and high school diploma; automotive parts experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Perform basic math for transactions.
• Willing to learn about new products.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
