Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage, and safely deliver parts to pro customers in the Marietta area. You will also handle returns, promote sales, and assist with customer accounts and loyalty programs.

The role requires a valid driver's license, safety awareness, and comfort in upselling and cross-selling to increase transaction value. You will engage with customers, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness while supporting a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Willing to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
