Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Columbus, IN is seeking a driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, while supporting returns, upselling, and loyalty programs.

You will maintain inventory knowledge, stock aisles, assist walk-in customers, and contribute to a safe, clean store environment. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required; automotive parts experience is preferred.

• Automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP with insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
