Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Glenville, WV is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers, handle returns, and promote sales and loyalty programs. You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, assist with upselling, maintain store cleanliness, and help stock inventory while providing friendly, solution-oriented service.

Must have a valid driver’s license, be able to lift up to 50-100 pounds with assistance, and work days/evenings/weekends as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
