Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, and to pick up returns while promoting current sales and loyalty programs. The role supports upselling and maintains store cleanliness and inventory in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will interact with walk-in customers, build relationships with Pro customers, and use inventory systems to assist sales. A valid license and ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally with assistance.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers and provide CPP insights.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and inventory including stocking, back stock, and cycle counts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
