Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a reliable Driver to deliver parts to professional customers and manage returns while supporting sales initiatives. You will engage customers, promote loyalty programs, and contribute to accurate inventory and store upkeep.

Ideal candidates have automotive parts experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. Flexible schedules including some evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and catalogs.
• Use basic math accurately for transactions and units.
• Able to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Confident in engaging customers and promoting products.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights from deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
