Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Hazard, KY is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers. You will also handle returns, promote current sales and loyalty programs, and help with daily credit accounts while building customer relationships.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a high school diploma, and a customer-service mindset with sales aptitude. Automotive experience is preferred and you will work with store teams to ensure stock, inventory, and service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned
