Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in South Bend, IN is seeking a Driver whose primary duties include picking, staging and safely delivering parts to pro customers, building relationships with MainStreet and National Pro accounts, and assisting in upselling and cross-selling to raise average transaction value. You will also help maintain stock, manage credits, and promote loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Automotive parts experience preferred.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
