Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Driver in Rhode Island to pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers, pick up returns and cores, and promote current sales and loyalty programs. You will build relationships with customers and assist in upselling to increase transaction value.

The role requires a valid driver's license, safe driving, strong communication, and the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to read safety rules and maintenance instructions and parts catalogs.
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus.
• Able to perform basic math and work varied shifts including days/evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Promote current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and inventory.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
