Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Wisconsin seeks a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, and to assist with returns and promotional flyers.

You’ll maintain inventory knowledge, upsell and cross-sell products, engage walk-in customers, and support store operations. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required; physical duties include lifting up to 100 lbs and working days, evenings, or weekends.

Qualifications

• Safe driving and navigation ability.
• Ability to use delivery board system.

• Ability to locate and stock parts; safety knowledge.
• Operate inventory systems and store equipment.
• Sales aptitude and customer service orientation.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Prior automotive parts experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
