Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Saint Augustine, FL is seeking a delivery associate who will pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs. You will build relationships with Major Pro customers, assist in upselling, and maintain stock and store cleanliness.

The role requires a valid driver's license, basic math and reading skills, and excellent customer service. Automotive parts experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English clearly; Spanish language skills a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs and procedures.
• Develop customer service and sales skills to upsell and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned during deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
