Job summary

Pro Mechanical is seeking a General Foreman for the Port Lavaca, TX project. You will lead field teams, coordinate construction activities, and drive on-site safety and quality compliance to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include planning resources, supervising subcontractors, and overseeing equipment and material management while maintaining strict adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

• Plan, coordinate, and assist in cost control while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Promote safe practices on site and ensure compliance with HSE legislation and quality requirements.
• Recommend repairs, supervise maintenance of tools and equipment, and determine work procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and deliver toolbox talks or briefings; prepare project reports on time and equipment.
• Interpret plans, Isometric drawings, and sketches in line with project specifications.
• Organize and monitor subcontractors on site; manage equipment and material and ensure on-time, on-budget completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for overseeing the teams engaged in construction activities; and planning, coordinating, assisting in cost control, and ensuring a safe work environment.
• Entails operating and promoting safe working on site and implementing company requirements and legal regulations, paying specific attention to HSE legislation and quality.
• Recommend repairs, supervising the maintenance of tools and equipment, and determining work procedures.
• Conduct and amend risk assessments and deliver toolbox talks/briefings; and prepare reports on project time and equipment.
• Involves interpreting plans, Isometric drawings, and sketches of proposed structures in terms of the relevant specifications.
