Purpose

This position is responsible for training and developing Product Sales Specialists and ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience by receiving exceptional customer service and product information.

Pay Range

$16.78 - $23.22

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Essential Functions
  • Act and work in a manner that is consistent with the company’s core values
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding and compliance with the company’s safe lifting practices and standard operating procedures
  • Drive and teach the company philosophy around the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing
  • Provide direction to all product sales specialists to ensure high-quality customer service
  • Complete all product specialist certification courses
  • Understand merchandise and installation thoroughly
  • Ensure proper merchandising, pricing, and organization of the department
  • Communicate SOPs and updates to associates promptly
  • Complete forklift proficiency testing and certification
  • Communicate inventory needs to management
  • Assist in processing merchandise to the showroom floor
  • Validate product placement and pricing
  • Greet customers courteously and assist with product questions
  • Process transactions using POS system, including refunds and exchanges
  • Present ‘how-to’ classes to customers
  • Follow cash, check, and card acceptance procedures
  • Stock and tag merchandise displays
  • Create price tags and signage
Working Conditions

Frequent exposure to warehouse environment and moving vehicles; noise level is moderate to noisy.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Ability to exert 30-60 pounds occasionally, 20-30 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly; frequent use of hands and fingers; standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and stooping are required.

Store and Pickup Hours

Store: Mon-Fri 7AM-8PM, Sat 8AM-7PM, Sun 10AM-6PM. Pickup: Mon-Fri 7AM-7PM, Sat 8AM-7PM, Sun 10AM-6PM.
