Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Indianapolis area. The role focuses on positioning patients, selecting anatomical and technical parameters, and ensuring high-quality imaging in a hospital setting.

Requirements include BLS within 30 days, ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential within 180 days, and XR program graduation. The position supports patient education and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist credential obtained within 180 days of hire.
• Graduate of XR program.
• Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cum. experience or Associate's/Technical degree or 4 years of cum exp.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, clean linens, and other materials; notify appropriate personnel to order/stock items as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports as required by the department.
• Provide education and instruction to patients regarding their procedure.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience

Associate's degree or Technical degree

4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
