Job summary

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a PRN X-Ray Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services across Chicagoland clinics. You will perform extremity X-rays, assist with patient care, and document in the Epic EMR, while ensuring ALARA principles.

Required is a Radiologic Technology degree with ARRT certification (or in progress within 6 months) and Illinois licensure. The role offers flexible shifts and opportunities to work at multiple clinics.

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technology degree and ARRT certification or in progress within 6 months.
• Illinois licensure to practice (IDNS or IDPH Radiologic Technologist) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform extremity X-ray imaging following physician orders and ALARA principles.
• Room patients, collect vitals, and document in the EMR (Epic).
• Support clinical tasks as needed and relay instructions to patients.
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform daily QC checks.
