Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PRN Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist to support multiple South Florida facilities. You will produce diagnostic images and document exposure in accordance with laws and policy, while maintaining patient safety.

The role requires flexibility to work at several locations and respond to coverage requests within a 30-day window. A high school diploma or equivalent, ARRT licensure, CPR certification, and state licensure as applicable are required; prior radiography experience is

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) licence is required or state license where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Flexibility to travel and work at multiple locations across South Florida.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographic images for interpretation.
• Prepare, administer and document radiation exposure per policy.
• Maintain patient safety and HIPAA compliance.
• Operate and troubleshoot X-ray equipment; coordinate with radiologists.
• Train/mentor staff and other technologists as needed.
• Cover shifts as a per-diem technologist across sites.
