Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT certification required.
• State licensure if applicable.
• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures.
• Ensure radiation protection measures for patients and staff.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment according to guidelines.
• Evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic quality before submission.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and protect patient confidentiality.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
