Job summary

You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to assess, plan and manage wound care, following established nursing models to optimize outcomes.

You will educate patients and families, document care thoroughly, administer medications as ordered, and participate in hospital initiatives that advance nursing practice and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Texas license required or temporary permit.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift.
• Document nursing care thoroughly in the medical record and administer medications as ordered.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions and treatment plans.
