Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing education program.
• Two years RN experience in a healthcare environment.
• TX RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications required within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and perform assessments and treatment planning.
• Assist with exams, treatments, and maintenance of medical records.
• Communicate with physicians and interprofessional health care team to coordinate care.
• Lead unit initiatives, serve as charge nurse or preceptor, and contribute to governance efforts.
