Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center is seeking a PRN Cook/Kitchen staff member to support meals for patients, staff, and events at our 100-bed facility in Virginia Beach. Candidates must be available weekends and holidays and have a focus on food safety and sanitation.

The role involves preparing meals, assembling patient/staff trays, serving food, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and stock. Prior cooking in a healthcare or facility setting is preferred, with High School Diploma or equivalent

Competenze

• Knowledge of food service, food safety and sanitation required.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Experience cooking in a facility setting preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare meals for patients, staff and special functions.
• Assemble patient and staff trays; serve meals.
• Perform cleaning, stocking, maintenance, sanitation and trash removal as assigned.
