Job summary

Qualifications

• RN with active license (US)
• 1+ acute care hospital setting preferred
• Fluent English in reading, speaking and writing
• Basic computer skills to navigate Windows software
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly reevaluate them
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care
• Coordinate care with medical staff and departments for safe patient care
• Document patient information, care activities and outcomes accurately
• Evaluate and adjust care plans to improve outcomes
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are met
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication
• Supervise care provided and delegate tasks as needed
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement
• Respond promptly to code situations and intervene as required
