Job summary

BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE MEDICAL CENTER, MARBLE FALLS TX is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in Radiology. The role performs ultrasound procedures in ambulatory and hospital settings, under supervision, to aid diagnosis according to established protocols.

The position requires preparing patients, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and imaging workflows. Excellent patient communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED.
• Experience: Less than 1 year.
• BLS certification required; ARRT credentials listed in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality ultrasound procedures according to exam protocol.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET to identify needs and explain tests.
• Positions patient and prepares area for procedures.
• Follows safety, infection control, and radiation policies.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and unit cleanliness; reports issues.
• Maintains imaging records and documents requisitions and histories.
