The Woman's Hospital of Texas is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality ultrasound services across OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, and limited vascular exams. The role emphasizes patient-first care and collaboration with radiology leadership.

Responsibilities include maintaining competence, pursuing performance improvement, and ensuring timely, compassionate patient interactions. Travel to satellite facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RDMS or ARRT(S) registered or Registry Eligible (must obtain initial registry within six months of hire date).
• If RDMS registered, must obtain RDMS(AB) within six months of hire date. RDMS(RVT), CCI (RVS) or ARRT(VS) accepted for vascular certification.
• RDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) acceptable for echocardiography specialties.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equitable on the job training.
• Required experience - OB/GYN; Abdominal and small parts.
• Preferred - Neurological and limited vascular experience.
• Previous ultrasound experience required.

Responsabilités

• Provide ultrasound services across OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, small parts, neurological, and limited vascular exams.
• Maintain patient safety and quality of care while upholding professional standards.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and satellite staff for continuity of care.
• Demonstrate attendance, punctuality, and timekeeping consistently.
• Travel to satellite facilities as needed for staffing requirements.
• Engage in ongoing personal and professional growth and performance improvement.
