Job summary
TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist PRN to perform imaging procedures ordered by physicians and support quality patient care in a diagnostic environment.
Responsibilities include conducting a variety of imaging and portable exams, documenting results in Meditech and PACS, adhering to QA/HLD protocols, and recording patient history and labs.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- (RDMS-AB) RDMS Abdomen Specialty must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
- Ensure delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
- Demonstrate ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
- Follow physician orders, document completion of the exam in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.
- Follow proper quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories.
- Document patient history, including lab values.
