Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our radiology team in Fredericksburg, VA. You will perform ultrasound exams across neuro, OB, vascular and pediatric areas using GE Logiq systems, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role requires RDMS certification within 6 months, CPR/BLS within 30 days, and on-call coverage as part of rotating shifts. Benefits include comprehensive medical plans, retirement options, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• RDMS certificate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• CPR/BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs Ultrasound exams following protocols in a timely manner with high quality of care.
• Competent use of ultrasound machines (GE Logiq E9, GE Logiq S8, Parks Flo).
• Familiar with exams across neuro, OB, vascular, pediatric and biopsies.
• Maintains probes and documents patient history and exam results.
• Coordinates patient flow and communicates with radiologists, physicians and families.
• Contributes to on-call and holiday staffing as needed.
• Maintains licenses, certifications and accreditations as required.
