Job summary

Envision Imaging is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to join our Utah team. This role supports adult and pediatric ultrasound procedures and assists Radiologists with advanced exams.

Compensation ranges from $41.46 to $49.95 per hour, with shifts available at both Bountiful and Draper locations. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of ultrasound experience, education from an accredited program, and ARDMS RVT or ARRT (VS) preferred, plus CPR/BLS certification.

• Two or more years of ultrasound experience preferred.
• Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment.
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation.
• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.
• Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
• Performs ultrasound scans and prints images while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time.
• Assists Radiologist on specialized exams.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.
• Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
