Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-Approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• Current ARRT registration and Iowa permits required.
• ARDMS certification (abdomen, OB, vascular, breast) or actively pursuing.
• Strong computer, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound and other radiologic procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Provide safe, professional, and compassionate patient care.
• Communicate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality exams.
• Manage and maintain imaging and information systems (PACS, HIS, RIS).
• Assist with scheduling, phone coverage, documentation, & departmental support tasks.
• Support students and participate in quality improvement, Lean initiatives, & training.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, safety standards, & a clean, organized work environment.
• Respond to emergencies & support department & hospital operations as needed.
