Job summary

Valley Regional Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technician RVT PRN to perform ultrasound and radiology procedures with independent judgment. The role covers obstetric imaging, vascular studies, and other diagnostic scans within a patient-centered setting.

Proficiency in ultrasound fundamentals, transducers, and image optimization is required, along with relevant credentials. PRN status indicates on-call scheduling within the HCA Healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support is required.
• RDMS credential is required or preferred.
• Associate Degree in a related field.
• RVT or RVS vascular credentials are required or preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in ultrasound transducers, anatomy, and imaging techniques.
• Shows proficiency in beam configuration, focal zones, and image quality.
• Operates in obstetric and other ultrasound procedures with standard measurements.
• Performs age-specific patient care and maintains accurate reports in the system.
