Job summary

Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital in Elko is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technician for a PRN role, performing abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast and small parts studies for radiologist interpretation.

Graduate of diagnostic medical sonography or radiology program with ARRT/DMS certification and BLS within 30 days of hire. You will operate ultrasound equipment, maintain supplies, keep records and contribute to a patient‑centered radiology team within Lifepoint Health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of diagnostic medical sonography or radiology program.
• One year of sonography experience preferred.
• ARRT/DMS certification; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receives patient, explains procedure, ensures comfort.
• Performs ultrasound exams (abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, small parts).
• Operates ultrasound equipment according to standards and practices.
• Maintains equipment and supplies, organizes work area.
• Keeps accurate records and supports scheduling and patient flow.
