Job summary

HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL seeks a PRN Ultrasound Tech to perform diagnostic ultrasound scans for radiologists, following physician orders and hospital procedures. The role includes imaging both adult and pediatric patients.

This PRN position requires on-call evenings and nights and offers compensation aligned with experience. The ideal candidate will be a graduate or current student in an allied health program with an associate degree preferred, ultrasound experience,

Qualifications

• Graduate of, or currently enrolled in, an allied health program is required.
• Associates degree in allied health or completion of a certificate is preferred.
• Experience in sonography/ultrasound is preferred.
• Certification/registry eligible as RDMS (ARDMS) or RT(S) (ARRT) with 12 months to achieve registry.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans to radiologists per orders and procedures.
• Survey anatomy and pathophysiology using ultrasound for adults and children.
• Work as part of Imaging to support on-call evenings and nights.
