Job summary

SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - St. Charles is seeking a PRN ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic procedures and provide quality images for interpretation. The position cites registration as a registered sonographer appropriate for the department.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and adjusts all equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams.
• Implements safety standards and performs QC procedures.
• Performs routine and complex studies and assists in imaging procedures.
• Ensures high-quality images are submitted to PACS with correct labeling and patient data/history.
• Maintains a clean, orderly department and compliance with regulatory agencies.
