Department: Transportation Services

Work Type: PRN

Shift: 2/12:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Pay Rate: $18.75/hour

Summary: Provides patient transportation services for all departments as directed by Transport lead/dispatcher/supervisor. Safely transports patients to and from hospital departments. Assists patients in moving to and from wheelchairs, beds, etc. Records patient information accurately for EPIC/Hall Pass and verifies two forms of patient identification prior to transport. Offers interdisciplinary support when not transporting patients. Maintains hospital environment appearance following established procedures. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow by performing miscellaneous duties as requested. Interacts with all customers to support departmental operations.

Requirements:

• Educational Requirements: Less than High School or higher
• Experience Requirements: No experience required or preferred
• Licenses: Not required
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support), required within first ninety days of employment
