Job Summary and Qualifications

We are recruiting a Transporter to join our team. You will be responsible for greeting and transporting patients to and from all major departments using proper safety techniques.

Responsibilities include:

• Transporting patients to and from clinical, ancillary, and support areas.
• Assisting clinical staff in transferring patients between beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers.
• Greeting and assisting hospital visitors.
• Delivering specimens, orders, requisitions, and equipment.

Qualifications needed:

• Preferred: At least one year of related experience.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, squat, kneel, move, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
