Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking an aide to support OT/OTA and PT/PTA teams in the acute setting. You will assist with patient treatments, monitor exercises, and help with supplies and housekeeping to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role requires strong communication, safety awareness, and the ability to work with a diverse patient population. On-the-job training is provided as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• No hospital experience required but preferred.
• On the job training provided.
• Computer experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with monitoring passive, active, and resistive ROM and gait training.
• Support patient safety during ADLs and transfers.
• Perform modalities as directed by therapists and be aware of precautions.
