Job summary

River Oaks Hospital, a UHS affiliate in New Orleans, seeks a dynamic Social Worker/Therapist (PRN). Under supervision, you provide individual, family, and group therapy and write admission assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.

You will liaise with families, outside agencies, and referral sources, and design and implement therapy services aligned with CMS standards and the facility mission.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health field is required.
• Licensure or supervised licensure for LCSW/LPC/LMFT in Louisiana is required or in progress.
• Two years post graduate experience in mental health is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to meet caseload requirements.
• Develop and write admission assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries within established time frames.
• Serve as liaison with families, outside agencies, and referral sources.
• Assess, design, and implement therapy services to meet patient and family needs.
• Adhere to CMS Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care and facility policies.
