Job summary

Palo Verde Behavioral Health is seeking a PRN Therapist - Outpatient to join our growing outpatient team in Tucson, AZ. This role provides Masters Level Group Therapy in an intensive outpatient setting, employing best practice modalities to support patients across the behavioral health spectrum.

The candidate should have a Master’s degree in social, behavioral or mental health services and licensure as LMSW (preferred), with 1–2 years’ outpatient experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's degree in social, behavioral or mental health services field from an accredited college or university.
• Credentials: Licensure by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Examiners as an LMSW (preferred)
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an outpatient environment, preferably in mental health.

Responsibilities

• Provide Masters Level Group Therapy in an intensive outpatient setting using best practice modalities.
• Collaborate with outpatient team to coordinate care and ensure treatment goals are met.

This position provides Masters Level Group Therapy in an intensive outpatient setting utilizing best practice modalities.

Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses. We offer partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. PVBH has an excellent reputation as an innovative hospital with caring, dedicated staff, experienced in the delivery of behavioral healthcare. Situated in Tucson, AZ, at the base of the Catalina Foothills, PVBH is minutes to Saguaro National Park and the University of Arizona.
