Corpus Christi Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Acute Inpatient – Telemetry Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the telemetry unit on a PRN/As Needed schedule.

You will assess patients on admission and every shift, perform and document care, administer medications, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the care team to ensure safe, compassionate outcomes. RN license and BLS required; 1 year acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.
• 1 year of Acute care experience required.

Responsabilités

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting changes.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide responsive care by addressing patient requests and anticipating needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow-up care.
