Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is seeking a PRN Telemetry Monitor Tech to support continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring and patient care in a high-acuity surgical setting.

The role involves interfacing with patients, families, and clinical staff, maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic health record, and collaborating with Nursing and Allied Health teams to ensure timely reporting of rhythm changes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CNA, PCT, MA certification, or equivalent; Monitor Tech certification or basic dysrhythmias course with competencies.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors cardiac rhythms across facility using telemetry monitors.
• Communicates dysrhythmias to nursing staff and physicians.
• Performs clerical duties and assists with patient care under RN/LVN supervision.
