Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures and to ensure safe, high-quality imaging for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities include post-processing, protocol adherence, and patient documentation. ARDMS or ARRT certification and BCLS are required on hire; advanced vascular/cardiovascular interventional radiography certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures (angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies) and related post-processing functions.
• Ensures use of established protocols and provides patient care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities: Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
