Job summary

Lake City Surgery Center LLC is hiring a Surgical Technologist Scrub Tech on a PRN basis in Lake City, FL. The candidate will scrub for surgical procedures, maintain sterile technique, and prepare supplies and equipment for operations.

The role requires a Surgical Technician program and state/center certification, with preference for ambulatory center experience. A strong team player with good communication skills is essential as part of a diverse surgical team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Surgical Technician program or equivalent.
• Certification as required by state and/or center.
• Experience in ambulatory surgical center preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Teamwork and strong communication with staff and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures as a member of the surgical team.
• Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures.
• Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
