Job summary

Vail Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for PRN/Pool shifts in Vail, CO. You will assist in the Main OR, maintain sterile technique, and support the surgical team during orthopedic cases, including use of the da Vinci robotic system.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or Licensed Surgical Technologist.
• Licensed as a Surgical Technologist in the state of Colorado required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Assists during surgical procedures by maintaining sterile field and providing instrumentation as needed.
• Participates in unit activities to assure quality patient care under RN direction.
• Maintains and prepares instruments; supports safety and efficient operating room workflow.
• Assists with patient transports, room turnovers and room preparation.
