Advanced Surgical Care in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a PRN Surgical Technologist to join our team. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist will scrub for procedures, prepare and maintain supplies and equipment, and support quality improvement activities.

This role requires a high school diploma, completion of a surgical technician program (or 2 years' experience), knowledge of aseptic techniques, adaptability, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a surgical technician program or two years of related experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures as part of the surgical team.
• Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Supports the philosophy and goals of the Surgery Center and participates in quality improvement activities.
