Job summary

Advanced Surgical Care is seeking a PRN Surgical Tech to join our ambulatory surgery team. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will scrub for procedures, prepare and maintain instruments and supplies, and support quality improvement activities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and surgical technician training or experience. Strong teamwork and communication with staff, patients, and physicians are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures under supervision of the Director of Nursing.
• Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Supports the philosophy and goals of the Surgery Center and participates in quality improvement activities.
